Okay so last night was AMAZING.
I got to the venue around 3:30 to pick up tickets, and Zack was walking out and ran into me. I apologized, because I was scared to death omg he’s so big in person, and he grabbed my arm, said sorry, and walked over to this chick offering him a doughnut and yelled “No I’m already fat!” and talked to us for a bit. He was so funny, but scary all at once. Then we went to get a hotel room, came back around 5 and waited in line for m&g.
Some people are really freaking weird at these shows okay. And this homeless guy kept asking people for money and he was wasted and the girl in front of me’s mom said she was gonna get her picture taken with him next time he came around. I was cracking up. Some kid was selling his CD from his band, Westside. They’re pretty good, I bought it for five bucks and it’s kinda All Time Low-ish. Check ‘em out, he’s a sweetie.
So we wait… and wait… AND FINALLY, around 6, they bring us in even though it was supposed to start at 5, and we get the talk. Zack is once again funny, but terrifying. His imitation of good/bad pictures made me snort and he pointed at me when I laughed because it was loud. The guys came in about 10 minutes after that, and it was just very chill. I was toward the back because of the way Zack had us line up (ugh) and when I got to the table, Ian was first.
I looked at him and I was like “Hi.” and he smiled, all bundled up in a jacket, hoodie and glasses and asked how I was. I told him good, and that I was glad he joined Panic! Because I loved him in the Cab. And he kinda made this face, like ‘Oh… The Cab’ and I was like ‘Oh, my bad” and he laughed and said it was cool, then signed my poster. I told him I was sorry he wasn’t on it, I had another one with all of them but forgot it and he said he was gonna draw himself but Zack made him pass it down.
Then it was Brendon and omg I froze. I was like “Hi” and he smiled and took the poster, said he looked ‘Dapper as fuck’ (sdhglkshdgkhsdg) and said I looked nice. I was like “Thank you ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm” and paused then finally kept going so I didn’t look stupid and said “I’m happy for you and Sarah” and he looked up, kind of half smiled, and reached out to put his hand over mine and said ‘That’s really sweet of you to say, thank you.’ And I just kind of stared, like horrified and finally looked back up because he asked a question but I didn’t hear it, so I had to lean over and Zack gave me like a death glare but Brendon brushed him off and asked my name. I told him, but he never did anything with it, it was kinda weird, haha. Then he said “Thanks for coming, enjoy the show” and I said “Thanks, you too” like the awkward blob of human I am, and he winked. May I just say, he also looked like a hobo okay.
Then it was Spencer, who was talking to a girl about Youtube videos where people dub voices over animal’s and I jumped in on it, laughing, and told him about this one I found with Sims having voice dubs and he laughed and said he’d look it up. He was very chill. I told him I was happy Panic! Continued. Spencer kind of blinked at me, then did that little half smile and looks at Brendon and goes “I am too. Thanks for saying that.” At this point, Dallon put his hand up in a stage whisper and goes “Me too.” and I started laughing, and accidentally cut Spencer off when he tried to say something. My mom was behind me, so before I went to Dallon, I backed up and apologized for cutting him off and he smiled and said “Cute manners.” And I froze. My mom thought he said acute manners but that didn’t make sense, and I think I just heard him wrong and he just said ~something~ manners but I’m going to PRETEND HE SAID THAT OKAY.
I said bye to him and moved onto Dallon who was already signing my poster. I told him I really loved the Skid Row cover especially, and I bought the old The Brobecks CD’s and he laughed at the fact that they’re like 50 bucks online, and said maybe he’d sell some of his copies for like 200 under a random account and I laughed and told him I was glad he joined and he said ‘thanks, I am too. They’re cool dudes.’ and then he knuckle bumped Spencer and I left.
Then we got back in line for pictures, yada yada yada, and I got up there in between Ian and Brendon, and I was like “Wow okay I feel short” as we got situated and Ian laughed and was like ‘Makes us fun sized!” and I just laughed, then Brendon was like “It’s adorable!” and idk, I’m going to think he was talking to ME okay and then we took the photo and I look demented, sorry, I was smiling WAY too big. Then I said bye and Brendon flashed a peace sign and Dallon waved and I was so happy omg.

My spot at barricade sucked because this 300 pound girl shoved me behind another 300 pound girl who was triple my height and weight, so I couldn’t see right off the bat and these chicks behind me threw so many elbows before the show even started. Zack pointed at me and goes “You’re a tiny fucker, you gonna be okay?” and I thought I was in TROUBLE and he just asked if I was okay, and I was like “I’m not sure, actually” because other people were small, but they were with bigger people to stand by them that they knew, ya know? I came alone so I was like “Shit, I’m gonna die.” I have a bruise the size of my fist on my hip before the early entry crowd even came in. So I shook my head and said I was getting out, and Zack nodded and lifted the barrier so I could slide through and I went back and bought a private table with my mom and some girls we met outside that were about my size and couldn’t take it either.
The seats were actually great, and I could SEE, we were about twenty feet away at a private table but no one was behind us so we could stand and I had a great time. I didn’t like Foxy, much at all really, but Patrick was GREAT and I’m definitely buying his new album. Panic! was just flawless. There was a lot of pranks, since it was Foxy’s last night, like Brendon ran on stage along with Dallon I think and totally interrupted the song and spun the lead singer around and it was hilarious. The show was great, and Brendon did a lot of the banter, occasionally with Dallon, and it was great because it’s not the same stuff every night ya know? The sound was spot on and it was just a good show okay. And Brendon taking his shirt off is expected but still VERY VERY nice. And during Always, Foxy and Panic! Came out and danced behind Brendon and he changed the lyrics to fit them and I was cracking up.
This band is flawless and even though Dallon like refused to smile (and they missed Spencer’s smile by like 1 second shdgsdhg) the m&g was even better, yup yup.
